Well-organized, vibrant living space is my Zen place. As far as I know, I’m not alone to fantasize about such cosy corners. You have also seen such lit living rooms on Instagram and dreamt of having them someday, haven’t you? I honestly cannot stop watching those reels until I feel like my eyes will pop out. I usually follow Pramila on Myntra studio for the same.

But we step back from implementing those in our spaces. Because of two reasons:

1. We think it’s such an expensive affair that we may not pull off. 
2. And the thought of everyday maintenance it demands. 

However, there’s nothing a man can’t achieve once his mind is set. I have been into the home decor so much of late and believe me, we can bring a lot of change in our living spaces with simple additions and adjustments. 

Allow me to share some of the tips that I have come across. 

5 Easy Home Decor Ideas

1. Quirky Cushions

This one little addition to your space can bring out colour and cosy. Personally, I love cushions. Doesn’t matter if I’m working or sleeping, a pair of comforting cushions will bring so much comfort. 

2. Mural on the wall

Don’t even ask how many people love these Murals on the wall. And so many amazing up and coming artists are experimenting with this art and the results are beyond beautiful. You too might have seen these on Instagram reels. They are quite popular.

Yet, I understand this can be a bit costly. But you know what, we got cool Mural stickers on the Internet. Give those a shot, maybe. 

Else, better yet easy, get a statement art piece such as this.

3. Indoor plants

Why don’t you add some green in your home and see how that amplifies the whole vibe? But I also get that having indoor plants also mean a lot of maintenance. Don’t worry, we have an alternative. Artificial indoor plants. 

Not as great as having the real ones but these are enough to add vibrance to your home. 

4. Rope rug

Unique, chic, and absolutely fun. You can have a store-bought rope rug or make one yourself but these are going to spiff up your home. Go to Youtube and you will find N number of DIY videos of Rope Rugs. 

5. Fairy Lights

Another element that instantly lights up your living space is light itself. Yes, I’m talking about fairy lights. They look especially good in bedrooms. Actually, this is something we all have tried some time but the question is, have you done it right? 

Maybe this will spark some creativity.
