Man’s mind is faster than a jet and cleverer than a fox. So we have the technology to keep us entertained even in the middle of a pandemic. You know there are many amazing social media apps that are trending right now?

5 Trending Social Media Apps
Do you not like video chats? No problem.
Hate texting all the time? Not an issue.
We have crossed that hurdle. Now we have many more socials and you can decide which one suits you.
1. Clubhouse
The first one on my list of trending social media apps is Clubhouse. I’m so enjoying my time on Clubhouse. It’s audio-only, and it’s like listening to a radio. And in all honesty, I enjoy audio-based socials rather than text or video ones. Ain’t we connect better with audio? I definitely do.
If you are anything like me, you are gonna have a great time there as well. And it’s free to join and create your own clubs, except there are a few guidelines to do so.
2. Discord
Number two on trending social media apps is Discord. Maybe not so much as Clubhouse but Discord is also widely being used by netizens. I joined a writer’s group on Discord and it is so convenient to connect with other writers. It’s free to join and also free to create your own group, private or public.
3. Omegle
I personally never tried Omegle but have seen a number of posts on Instagram about it. It seems fun if you enjoy video chatting with strangers. But I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and definitely not mine. Although in my research I found out that it also has audio and text features. So that seems doable.
4. Twitter Spaces
I just tried it out and it is ah-ma-zingg! You gotta try this out, especially if you suck at Twitter and have never found a way to take advantage of it. I was a lazy Tweeter and this feature has opened new doors for me to reach a new audience.
This is so awesome.
5. Instagram Reels
We’re no strangers to Instagram. We have been using it for years now and it still is on the trending list. Because we love it so much. There are many creators out there that are living off of Instagram. It’s that good.
And with their newest feature, reels, Instagram has once again sent a ripple in the virtual world. Its reach is incredible and the fun we’re having with it is no joke. Creators, businesses, and even regular folk are hooked to this feature.

That’s my recent exploration. I found these socials that are all the craze currently and yes, I definitely enjoy these platforms. Especially these are so helpful for me as a writer. I can connect better with my audience and I can have more fun interacting. Nevertheless, don’t go overboard with social media, take social media breaks as and when necessary.
