I visited Russia. First, I went to Moscow and then headed to Kizhi. It was a beautiful experience. I saw how the local people sing, work, and live.
As I said first I went to Moscow, in the spring season. The flowers were in full bloom, painted in vibrant hues. As the sun shined brightly in the blue sky, I walked the streets of Moscow.
After visiting this beautiful spring season in Moscow I was ready for my next destination.
Next stop.
Kizhi, winter season.
The wooden wonder of Russia is located in Kizhi. It’s a place that is beautiful in every season. In winter the whole land is carpeted with a layer of snow and there, amidst snowy white land, situates Kizhi Pogost. Even the lake adjacent to it freezes over and turns into a snow lake in winter.
Whereas in autumn, nature paints this place again with stunning hues — Bright orange, yellow, paired with green grass and blue sky. The green grass covers the whole place with autumn-colored trees fencing the land.
Personally, I love to see multi colors of nature rather than a plain white canvas. So autumn in Kizhi has to be my favorite.
Savoring the beauty of nature for a while, I headed to visit the famous transfiguration church of Kizhi. The wooden construction blew my mind away. It is said to have no nails in the wooden frame, only a few were used in the dome. The sunbeams reflected on this gigantic wooden structure made it seem gold and silver.
This beautiful trip to Russia came to end when my mom called me for dinner. So I had to finish this trip to rush off to dinner.
By the way, I forgot to tell you the duration of this trip, didn’t I? It was barely 60 minutes.
Yes, yes, you were right.
It’s a virtual trip to Russia.
I wanted to see as many beautiful places as I can this second half of 2021. These past couple of years have gone by being locked inside four walls. I do not want to waste another minute like that. But don’t worry I’m not stupid to travel now, with Corona everywhere. Then what can I do about it? I cannot control Covid or fast-forward the time to the non-covid era. But I can use technology to see beauty, to see the wonders of this world, and to have pleasant thoughts. That is exactly why I wanted to go on a virtual tour this month.
And this is only the beginning. There are going to be many more virtual trips.
I know this cannot come anywhere near to traveling in real-time but with how things are currently this is the best we can. It could be fun based on how you make it.
Shall I give you a tip for the best virtual tour experience?
Write down everything. Pretty much like how I did here, write, add pictures, and invite your family or friends to join you on this virtual trip.
It enhances the picture you are looking at and your positive emotion.
Try it.
And now you might where to go for a virtual tour? Going in and out of several websites, I found Airpano to be the best internet has got to offer for virtual tours around the world. There are 36o° photo and 360° video options. I prefer the video for a better experience.
To conclude this:
No writer or painter could create a world as beautiful as the one we’re living in.
Thus we should try to live every day appreciating it.
Now tell me in the comments, where should I travel next?
I’ll see you soon again.
Cheers,
Nikki.
