Have a hard time being consistent with gym?
You know you should exercise but you probably can’t bring yourself to do it. Worry not, you are not alone. Our busy lives get in the way of our fitness. It’s a common problem across the world. However, you got to push yourself to do what’s best for you.
Exercising, once begun, changes your life dramatically. The way you talk, walk, and sleep improves, making your lifestyle much healthier.
Many believe home workouts are an alternative to gym, which is true to a good extent. Without proper equipment and motivation, home workouts can only achieve so much for you. The fact: Gym workouts are double, if not triple, effective as home workouts.
But you can make your home workouts almost as good as gym with a bit extra effort. Meaning, you need to get some fitness equipment for home to escalate your motivation and results. Before you worry about cost and space it requires, let me tell you that you always have alternatives.
Here’s a list of home fitness equipment for an effective workout. I have also researched a lot and gave you the links here for every single equipment below so, you can have the best home gym ever.
So, let’s not waste another second and jump right into it!
10 Cheap & Best Home Fitness Equipment
As said above, money and space are two concerns for most people when it comes to buying workout equipment for home. So, we only included the equipment that comes at an economical price, works effectively and doesn’t take much space.
1. A Swiss Ball
Swiss stability ball is effective in toning and strengthening your body especially the back. There are many exercises you can do with this stability ball, making your home workouts more productive. Try this as it will surely level up your fitness game.
2. A Wrist Exerciser
While working out we often tend to neglect the wrist part but it mustn’t be the case. Thus, a wrist exerciser is a must-have item in your home gym. It helps strengthen your whole hand muscles especially forearms and wrist. Even those who are not much into working out can find this exercise helpful and refreshing.
3. Dumbbells
This is perhaps the most common home fitness equipment people prefer. Either you workout at a gym or at home, weight lifting equipment is necessary and dumbbells are a good start. If you don’t do strength training with dumbbells, your workout results wouldn’t be as fruitful as you wish.
Remember, the weight of the dumbbell must be slightly above the weight you are comfortable carrying.
4. A Tummy Twister
We can’t have heavy gym machines such as a treadmill at home. But, we can replace them with something that’s less space-requiring, perhaps something like a tummy twister. It’s quite affordable, doesn’t need much space, and has a great impact on our workout.
5. Abs roller wheel
It’s a bit difficult in the beginning but eventually, when you get the trick, this is the most useful equipment to tone your body. An abs roller wheel gives your body a good stretch and also strengthens your back and abs.
6. A Hand Grip
The next one is a Handgrip. Hand grip helps you improve strength in forearms and wrist. Again, it’s affordable and easy to store.
7. A Skipping rope
We all grew up doing this and we are all very much familiar what this is and how it works. It offers you a full body exercise. And, as per a research, a 10-minute skipping is considered equal to a 45-minute run. So, do not miss out on this simple yet powerful gym equipment.
8. Abdominal cruncher
Abdominal crunches are hard in the beginning, but they are powerful enough to learn to do them. Abs cruncher is helpful for people who want to do these crunches but couldn’t. It will ease the workout, helping you get used to it.
Compared to the other options, an abdominal cruncher is slightly on the pricey end, but when you take the results it produces into account, it is genuinely worth the price.
9. A Tummy trimmer
Losing belly fat with just home workouts is almost impossible but with Tummy trimmer, it could be possible. Tummy trimmer helps build up thighs, abdomen, upper arms and hips. It is one of the best ones to have at home for the best workouts every day.
10. Resistance loop bands
Last but not least, resistance loop bands also deserve a place in your home fitness equipment. They may be simple but gives you tremendous results. Resistance bands are economical, easy to store and helps to intensify your workout even at home and without a trainer.
There you go!
The message here is not to go for a mediocre workout just because you are at home. We have many home fitness equipment that will help us have an intense workout session as if we are at gym. Use these 10 small equipment and make a big impact.

Doing fitness at home never worked for me. But I do have a Swiss ball and I live doing abs on it. I have drum bells and a flexible band. I also bought a jumping rope, thinking that I could jump in my apartment, but this was a fail :)) I do not have space for this, but I did like jumping rope at the gym.
I don’t know why it failed but I guess, you could give it another try. Good luck!
These are awesome! So often I think people don’t realize just how easy it would be to create a home gym!
