For everything in this world, there is an explanation. And every such explanation is either logical or magical. Would you agree? I know some will say even magic has logic, haha, but that’s not the point I’m getting at. If a thing is within our grasp to understand we come up with a logical explanation and move along. And if it is beyond our comprehension ability, we simply call it magical or a miracle.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe in both. But what I don’t understand is why we must find a reason behind everything. Sometimes we are so obsessed with the reason that we turn blindsight to the magic happening right under our noses.
I am also like that. I try to find answers to questions and I try to find a pattern for every puzzle. Might be good, might be bad. But one thing I firmly believe is that “Nothing should be extreme“. Balance is important. I’ve had experiences where I became too cautious and had my guard up so I would not get hurt but that only made me overlook the joy at the moment. That was the loss of being too logical.
This reminds me of a documentary I’ve seen long back. There the speaker told the audience how being vulnerable is important to find happiness and I couldn’t agree more. If we keep our hearts locked so the hurt couldn’t enter, happiness couldn’t enter either.
It is not possible to feel happiness without feeling pain, just like light and darkness. They are a package.
I might not be old enough to tell you this but in life, there are things that must be felt and there are things that must be thought. They are two different things. And that is what we call “Balance“.
When you don’t understand a thing, just say thank you for the good and pray to overcome the bad. Life throws many curveballs at you and when that happens you simply have to elude them and move on. If you sit and wonder “why it happened?” every time something happens, you will go nowhere.
Sometimes you need to take a leap of faith and at times, use your wits to survive in this jungle. Using only any one of your abilities only leaves you exhausted.
“Why did it happen?”
“What did I do?”
“What was my fault?”
“How can I change this?”
If you ask yourself these questions too many times, you will get even more confused. We think finding solutions only can help but sometimes letting go is the right way to get over a situation. We have spent far too much time of our lives finding reasons, now it’s time to feel.
So the point here is that do not take everything so seriously nor too lightly. This is a gentle reminder for you to remember that “Life, love, sincerity, kindness, and, success must be felt. Not to be thought.” That’s the best way to live life.
Lots of LOVE,
Nikki.

That middle ground is the best way to stay sane I think!
In my opinion life itself is strange and we create an explanation for everything that happens to us in order to feel satisfied with our way of life. After all said and done, life should be lived to the fullest. Thank you for this beautiful article.
I totally agree , there should be balance , but most of the time it easier said than done . Especially if the past experience was traumatic that leads us to guard ourself. But good point yeah.
I think both ways a great and very important for each person. Great post!
Here you go, I agree balance is the keyword here as nothing too much is good. Balance is always needed.
It doesn’t really matter how old or young anyone is, there are lessons to learn at all stages. I agree with you that there needs to be balance, it’s neither one nor the other!
Live life in harmony and balance. Even good things, pursued or attained without moderation, can become a source of misery and suffering. It is for this reason that we should prize ideals such as measure, balance, harmony, and proportion as much as they did, the parameters within which productive living can proceed.
To be balanced in everything, as much as possible, is important to me. I need to value and prioritize which I believe I will be a better person for me and my loved ones.
Life is a mystery. There are days where I am logical and there are days I believe in magic. Its a nice little balance to keep me on my toes.
What a beautiful post! I beleive we do need a balance in everything for the perfect equilibrium in life, whether we call it magic or logic, let’s just open our hearts and live life to the fullest.
I always go for being logical, it balances life by being true. This is a great post to read, thank you!
This is such an interesting post. I love the perspective you take on this subject.
Such an important message you have shared that not to take life so seriously. Thanks for these logical reminders
Life definitely throws a lot of curveballs at you for sure! I like how you talk about having balance and not being totally focuses on the logical aspects of life in order to find answers. But on the flip side, you dont want to always just walk around with your head in the clouds ignoring what is going on around you. So as you said, Balance is key…though I think I prefer to lean a little more to the magical side!!
