Hello! Recently I got ‘Clarins Skin Care Heroes‘ as a gift from one of my cousins. And I am ready to see how it works. I’ve never used anything from Clarins till this date. This is the first-ever time. But I have heard a lot about it. It is a made in French brand. So, this skincare set contains three products that help you with different times of the day. A day cream, night cream, and a face treatment oil.

Before I start reviewing how they work, let me show you how simple and pretty their packaging is. The sight of it alone is a delight in itself. Look at that!

Clarins Skin Care Heroes

• Antioxidant Day Cream

The first one of ‘Clarins Skin Care Heroes’ is an antioxidant day cream. A 30 ml product. This day cream is claimed to be apt for all skin types and I partly agree with that. Because I don’t think this might be that effective on dry skins, it would need frequent reapplication. But it will be fine for all other skin types.

SPF 20. The cream is in the loveliest baby pink tinge and not greasy at all on the skin, just radiant enough. Also, has a lovely scent. It gives a smooth finish on the skin and subtle radiance. But pricey. You can have a look at all the face moisturizers I’ve used. I’ve listed more of my favorite ones in there.

Would I buy it again?

Maybe, maybe not (I would rather try some other from the same brand). 

Would I recommend it?

Depends.  

• Revitalizing Night Cream

This night cream is of 15 ml and it claims to be suitable for normal to combination skin type and I agree with that. Just as the day cream, it is also not greasy and super light on the skin. The cream is in silky white texture. Soothing fragrance too. It gives a finished look to the skin. It’s great and I have no complaints about it. But did I find anything special about it?? Yes, it feels light on the skin just like the day cream but radiates skin more than the day one. Apply it before bed and you will wake up with a brighter-looking skin.

I liked this one better than the day cream. But very pricey.

Would I buy it again?

Yes. Maybe.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, definitely.

• Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil

The first thing I noticed about this face treatment oil is its pleasantly aromatic scent. You all know how particular I am about the aroma of a product and this one is definitely a winner in that category. One whiff of it and I knew how positively it’s going to affect my mood. It did not leave me for a long time once I put it on my face. It kept lingering around me almost all day, which is a good thing.

And then, when I put it on, I did not felt it greasy on the skin or unpresentably sweaty. One can barely tell you’ve put something on your face. So, you can even apply it in the daytime without any hesitation. Though it’s that invisible, it kept the skin supple, and moisture. That’s the best part. Hence I reckon, it suits every skin type. Basically, I love face serums/oils and of all such I’ve tried so far, this one ranks top of the list. If you are also like me, this is totally for you. This oil is of 100% plant extracts.

As I said, this is a set of three and this face treatment oil came in a 5 ml tiny bottle. Cute to look at.

How to use:

Just take a few drops of the Clarins Blue Orchid face treatment oil and apply it evenly all over your face. Before you do that, make sure you cleansed your face thoroughly. I basically apply it any time I want because I keep forgetting to put it on before bed, but for best results, I suggest you apply it before you go to sleep.

You can even apply it under your makeup. But as this basically is a revitalizing oil meant to repair your skin, better not put anything on top of it. Let your skin breath and rejuvenate.

Final verdict:

Of all three, I loved the Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil and I would definitely buy it again. It’s definitely working for me. Though it’s suitable for all, I’d recommend it to especially to those with dry and dehydrated skin, it’s going to work a miracle on your skin. And also, the day and night creams aren’t bad either. They’re one of the best ones I’ve used.

Overall, what I liked the best about this brand is all three are light on the skin and non-greasy. I’m totally going to try out other products from this brand too. So, this is my review on ‘Clarins Skin Care Heroes‘ and I’ll see you soon again!
