Top Picked Cotton Kurti Styles for the Season

What is a girl’s best friend? Okay, not diamonds. Try in clothing. It’s a cotton Kurti. It’s a no-fuss kinda clothing and there are many chic styles to pick from. Moreover, it is super comfortable. Workday or play day, I prefer to put on a cotton Kurti and I’m ready. They’re great for everyday looks.

If you haven’t loved your cotton Kurtis, you probably haven’t found your style so you always go for a generic style. Don’t. Do. That.

Here’s a wonderful guide to Cotton Kurti Styles for your everyday adventures.

5 Cotton Kurti Styles You Must Try

It is so wrong to give all cotton Kurtis just one generic term. Okay, I guess it’s not so wrong, we don’t need too many words to remember but I just think at least we must notice the differences.

Agree?

Top style 1: Classics never die

True. No matter how much people run after fashion and trends, we always find our way back to classics. Mostly because they make us comfortable, physically and mentally. So I suggest you get a beautiful piece of fabric and get it tailor-made. Basic but beautiful.

There are quite many kinds of fabrics you can choose from in India. Every place in India has its own handwoven styles of fabrics that are so stunning. Ikkat cotton, Cotton silk, South cotton, and more.

Top style 2: Khadi Kurti

This is a pretty versatile fabric I must say. You can pair it with denim jeans or just plain palazzos depending on your style preference, it will blend perfectly. It can be a short cotton Kurti or a long one. But it just makes you feel good no matter what.

Top style 3: Chikankari Kurti

Another favourite of mine is the Chikankari Kurti style. With intricate threaded embroidery, this is much more than just a cotton Kurti. Pair it with complementing accessories, and it will bring lots of elegance and beauty to your whole look.

Top style 4: Mangalagiri Cotton Kurti

Hailing from the Andhra state of India, this style of cotton Kurti is extremely sought-after. I remember wearing only Mangalagiri cotton Kurtis at one point in my life. It sort of became my style statement then. Something I never regretted.

Top style 5: Kalamkari Kurthi

One more south Indian style that I love — Kalamkari. This print is so beautiful, I can’t get enough of it. Pair it with palazzos or plain old leggings, and your style statement is set. You can also add a bit of boho jewellery to go with, and there you go — your perfect outfit for the day.

Voila!

That’s been our fab guide to Cotton Kurti Styles for you to flaunt this season. I hope you try all these styles without a doubt as I’m sure you’ll look beautiful in all. You can experiment with different bottoms and accessories to find out your one true go-to style. We all have one, haven’t we?

Comment about your favourite cotton Kurti, and I’ll see you soon again.

LOVE,

Nikki.
