This year has been quite hectic. Frankly, 2021 has gone by with the speed of light. It seems like just yesterday that I wore this beautiful fit for NY 2021 but bam! We are already approaching 2022. In couple more weeks, we will enter a New Year. I’m not as excited about it as I was as a kid but I’m looking forward to it. I’m curious to see what new beginnings it brings with it.
Before that, should we recap a little about 2021? I’m talking about my 2021 reading list. I could only read a handful of books this year because I spent most of the time learning from several courses. I would say this year had been great learning wise but reading-wise, it’s a bit slow.
But, I found some great reads and practical reading routines to accommodate my schedule. Anyway, let’s not dilly-dally anymore and get right to it.
2021 Reading List
So, in 2021, I read 8 books. I know, I know, it’s disappointing. But something is better than nothing. And as I said, although I didn’t read much I found some really enjoyable books this year. I think you might like them as well.
1. One day in December by Josie Silver
2. Star-Crossed by Minnie Darke
3. A Child’s Dream of a Star by Charles Dickens
4. Writing down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg
5. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
6. Where the Forest Meets the Stars
7. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
8. The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
I plan to read a lot more next year and I already prepared a long list of books to read and listen to. My goal is to read at least 12 books in 2022. I know it’s still not a lot but better to have simple and realistic goals.
What’s your reading goal for 2022?
Let me know in the comments and I’ll see you soon again.
Cheers,
Nikki.
